Our house is an old styled Chinese shop that is about 140 years old.
The rooms are fitted with fans and windows.
Orkid@29 is an expansion of our already successful guesthouse, Emily Travellers Home.
We also offer a unique cooking and dining experience by doing a cooking demo. Towards the end everybody dines together.

Orkid @ 29 is one street away from Jonker Walk and Chinatown. It is a great location to walk to Sungai Melaka, Little India, Stadthuys/Dutch Square, St Paul’s Church and A’Formosa in around 10 minutes.

Most evenings there is something going on, dinner tour, cooking in the kitchen or just a general meeting to head out to one of the local markets. Our evening entertainments usually consist of taking our guests to local restaurants / cycling or walking around the historical city that are not typically listed in any guide books.
