Due to COVID-19 there are lockdowns in place across the UK and travel is not permitted other than in limited circumstances until at least April. Failure to follow the law is a criminal offence.
In the very heart of the city and just a short walk from Inverness Castle, our sandstone villa dates back to 1880. Close to many restaurants, pubs and shops, this is an excellent location from which to to discover Inverness. The bedroom, with en-suite shower, is beautifully decorated and has Wifi, tea/coffee, television/DVD player and hairdryer. The room is light and airy with high ceilings and large double glazed windows. Please note the 3rd bed is a pull out single, available on request

The large entrance hall with original cornice, ceiling rose and open fireplace leads off to the guest lounge which has big, comfortable sofas, a large television, a piano which guests are welcome to play and original pitch pine fireplace. We encourage people to use this space to eat any hot food taken into the house. All rooms have Wifi. We have a large garden with a double swing and an area where we grow some fruit and vegetables. We also have a pond with goldfish and a BBQ area. Guests are welcome to share our garden and I can often be found out there tending the plants.
The bedroom, which is on the ground floor, has a double bed and there is also a pull out single bed available which will accommodate a child or small adult.
The room also has an ironing board and iron as well as a hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities.

The house has a large family bathroom which is private but if there are special requirements and a bath is needed instead of a shower we could make the bath available with a little notice.

The water runs VERY hot so please take care.
Check out is strictly 10am but you are welcome to continue to use the guest lounge until departure.

Southside Road is a quiet, tree lined street just a stones throw from the city centre. Offering the best of both worlds with its excellent location and peaceful setting. Just a short stroll will take you to the Castle, the shopping centre, Eden Court Theatre, our beautiful Cathedral, the Sports Centre and swimming pool and many fantastic shops, restaurants and pubs. We are happy to let you know about the most popular venues for a night out or a great meal and maybe direct you to the oldest pub in Inverness, which serves a selection of fine real ales! The stunning river is easily reached from our house and here you can watch the fishermen trying their luck to catch a salmon or perhaps spot a grey seal or playful otter splashing in the water. There are many beautiful walks around Inverness and some of our Munro's are just a short drive away for those who want to conquer a mountain during their visit.
