We live in a fabulous location, so close to the beach and a short drive over the hill to Russell. Or take a walk through the native bush. There is also a library corner, great for those cooler or wet days.
It is a very short walk to two beaches, a rocky one for fishing and snorkelling, and a sandy one for swimming.
There is a wonderful cliff top walk with amazing views of The Bay of Islands. You will feel like you are staying on an island.

The apartment has, two bedrooms, a twin room and a Queen room and a bathroom. The living area has a very comfortable sofa, a small dining table with four chairs, a TV with freeview and a DVD player. There is a small kitchenette/laundry with washing machine, microwave, fridge and hot plate. There is also a library corner, great for those cooler or wet days. Outside is a patio with BBQ and outdoor dining setting.

The apartment has a well lit level entrance. Car parking is very close to the front door..
We live upstairs so will usually be here to meet you. If for some reason we are not we will advise you how to access the property prior to your arrival.

We have two kayaks for guest use. The two beaches only 200 metres away are great for fishing, swimming, snorkelling and boating. We have a local boat ramp very close by. There are some great walks, including a cliff top walk with incredible views of The Bay of Islands. Russell has some great restaurants, including the famous Duke of Marlborough hotel. Check our travel guide for recommendations.

Alastair and I both enjoy camping in outback Australia and have done so for many years. We also enjoy travelling and have stayed in many airbnbs in America, Australia and New Zealand. We are retired and it is now our turn to host guests in our beautiful part of the world. We rent the downstairs apartment as "Travellers Coastal Rest" and also holiday rent our entire home under the listing "Casa del sol". (Also listed with airbnb).
