Just a 5 minute walk down the historic Kelly's Steps to the famous Salamanca Place, MONA ferry terminal, bars, restaurants and cafes. Hi, I'm Ben. Although I live on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland, Hobart is a second home to me. The climate, food and natural beauty are some of Australia's best and Battery Point has got to be my favourite suburb in the country. My family and I spend as much time here as possible and have fallen in love with the Grand Old Duke's history and charm. The building itself is heritage listed, having been one of the area's first pubs back in the 1850's. We do our best to retain its old world character. My family and I run the property with help of a local manager, Ted who you will most likely meet if we're back in Queensland.
