If you are looking for a fantastic break in southern France, then this is for you. The house comfortably sleeps 8 (+infant in cot). The property boasts a large heated pool and children's play area, and is set in the rolling countryside of the French Languedoc-Roussillon.

Explore the nearby lake and walks; world-famous Carcassonne; the Pyrenees; and the Med beaches!

Bedrooms: The house comfortably sleeps 8 (+1*) in 4 generously-apportioned double bedrooms. Two bedrooms have double beds and two have twin beds. All overlook the rolling countryside.
Bathroom: A large family bathroom upstairs, with good-sized bath, wash basin. Separate upstairs toilet and downstairs toilet. Fantastic views of St. Felix!
Kitchen: Well-equipped with electric cooker and gas hob, dishwasher, fridge freezer, and washing machine. The kitchen has a breakfast bar and leads to an open-plan dining room and lounge.
Dining room / Lounge: Open-plan with 8-seater farmhouse table, leading to large fireplace and lounge area. There is also free broadband, TV and a selection of DVDs.
(Note: Wifi is via satellite so is considerably slower than standard Internet connectivity.)
Outside: Extensive grounds with large (12m) heated swimming pool; children's play area; numerous eating terraces; barn with table tennis; extensive fruit trees.
Note: For winter bookings, we provide up to 15€/week free electricity included in the price. Any usage above this will be charged directly to you.
*+1: There is also space for an additional baby [under-2yrs] sleeping in a travel cot - which can be provided on request. For families with babies, we can also offer a highchair and stair gate. Just let us know what you need!.

Large heated and enclosed swimming pool (12m x 6m) available for your enjoyment. All round barrier complies with safety regulations, and the pool is heated to ensure an enjoyable, leisurely swim for family - children and parents alike! Pool house contains shower and toilet for added convenience.
Children's play area for the young family, comprises TP Sherwood Tower with 3m Rapide slide and climbing hoops; triple swing arm with two-seater Skyride; highback baby seat (for children from 6 months); plus single-seater swing seat. This is set in a very shady area of the property on soft-fall (woodchip) ground, ensuring complete fun, comfort and safety for all the children. Also includes 14-foot (fully-enclosed) trampoline.
Several family eating terraces Choose from a variety of eating areas with BBQs, either sheltered underneath Acacia trees or in full sunshine. Eating areas afford gorgeous views of St. Felix; the rolling countryside and sunflower fields.
All-weather table tennis provided for added enjoyment.
Over 6000 square metres of land with beautiful panoramic views and numerous fruit trees including apple, cherry, fig, pear, and almond. Feel free to sample the seasonal bounty!
N.B. 1. The pool is open between May and September.
N.B. 2. The outdoor facilities are shared between House and Gite guests.
N.B. 3. Please supervise your children at all times. We cannot be held responsible or liable for any loss, damage or injury (minor or fatal) sustained while staying at the property. Les Armengauds is a 100-200 year-old ferme longue comprising the Farmhouse and the Gite set in 2 acres of land, and surrounded by the sunflower fields of South-West France (Department: Aude; Region: Languedoc-Roussillon).
Conveniently located, it is only 45 minutes from Carcassonne Salvaza airport; 55 minutes from Toulouse Blagnac airport; and about an hour from the Mediterranean beaches (at Narbonne Plage) and the nearest ski station (les Monts d'Olmes) in the Pyrenees.
The nearest town is Revel (5 miles) which is well served with boulangeries, patisseries, restaurants, cafes, shops, and its picture-postcard French market.
