Forte is a spacious, bright 60 m2 two-room suite. Its roomy living room is adorned by beautiful arched windows and an original decorative tile fireplace. The windows overlook the visitors’ centre and the station’s clock.
The suite has a separate bedroom, a spacious living room combined with a fully equipped kitchen as well as a sauna and bathroom. The modern kitchen is fully equipped with living in mind: a water kettle and coffee-maker, toaster, microwave, oven, stove and integrated

Our own à la carte resturants operates at the same building. We serve fare from nearby areas, bringing lake fish and forest game to the table according to season and availability to create a varied, vibrant menu.
Our selection includes fish, vegetable and meat appetizers and main courses as well as three delicious dessert choices.
In the summer we also have lovely Garden terrace in the inner yard.

The harmonium factory building, completed in 1910, was designed by the factory owner’s brother Antti Halonen and is an example of the National Romantic art nouveau style. The second floor was originally occupied by the families of the factory’s founders, and over the years it has housed numerous famous artists and musicians. The building is full of stories.
The decor of the suites is fresh and modern, while at the same time respecting the building’s art nouveau spirit and the memory of the harmonium factory. Each suite is unique and offers different views of the city. The harmoniums made at the Halonen factory were tuned to different pitches and timbres using registers: Piano, Forte and Melodia. Like the timbres of the instruments, our unique rooms resonate with different atmospheres. Modern kitchens, bathrooms and information technology ensure pleasant living.
