Our house, Gowideaway, has been our family's holiday home for three generations. It's a simply furnished, comfortable hideaway for bird watching, beach strolling and enjoying the view over King George Sound while cooking a meal or sipping a sunset drink. Fresh air, mild climate, a relaxing, comfortable house. Kick off your shoes and breathe, with that gorgeous water view!

The front verandah is a perfect spot for meals, relaxing and stargazing. Bistro blinds can be lowered to keep the breeze at bay. Large sliding doors bring the air and sunshine inside. Watch the stars from your snug bed. Feel like paddling your toes? Stroll to the sandy Sommers Bay beach, 5 minutes' walk away.

Gowideaway is a three bedroom house. You're welcome to use all spaces except the two outer bedrooms, which are private family spaces. We ask you to respect our wishes for keeping those rooms off-limits.

Wildlife.
You may spot the wombat who has made a burrow under our kitchen window. Local pademelons (like little wallabies) and possums visit the house at various times. Try to avoid feeding them, they are better off foraging for their own food, though one or two green salad leaves is ok, if you can't resist their cute faces!
The kitchen is very clean. We don't use poisons, so local ants may come and go during your stay. Please keep ALL your food in the fridge (including the sugar) and wipe surfaces clean after use.

Chronicle Point, Murdunna is a favourite strolling place for locals and tourists. The quiet road is mostly sealed, but watch for cars which also share the space. The speed limit is 40 Kph. Enjoy the local flora and fauna along the road.
