Cozy ultramodern loft with adjoining private deck over looking the Bras d'or Lakes on picturesque Cape Breton Island. Our location is within 30 minutes of Baddeck, The Gaelic College, the entrance to the Cabot Trail, The Alexander Graham Bell Museum and the Ferry to Newfoundland. Whether you are looking for a peaceful retreat, site seeing or musical cultural experiences then this central location is for you.

The cozy loft offers a private deck with a view. You will have access to a barbecue upon request for a small fee. Inside the private entrance is a bright kitchen, dining and sitting area. The comfortable sofa converts into a bed if needed. There is a TV, books, games and puzzles for your entertainment. The kitchen is equipped with a compact refrigerator, a convection toaster oven, a hotplate, coffee maker and kettle. There is also all the cooking equipment you require to make, serve and clean up after your meals. You can enjoy your meal at the table for 2 or out on the deck. The bathroom is conveniently located between the living area and the large bedroom off a small landing. It contains a roomy shower and lots of storage with towels, hairdryers and a few other things you might need. Also, for your convenience, there is a compact combination clothes washer/dryer in the bathroom. The large bedroom has a queen size bed, closet, large dresser, desk and a comfortable chair for reading a good book. There is also another awesome view from the window. The loft has two ceiling fans and a great cross breeze from the 2 windows. There is electric heat if visiting during the chillier months.

We are about 18km off the Trans Canada Highway between Baddeck and North Sydney. We have an amazing view of the Great Bras d'or Channel which is part of the unique Bras d'or Lakes. There are private cottages around us and it is very quiet and peaceful. Our neighborhood is friendly but respectful of each others privacy. Whether you love to paint, kayak, hike, cycle, swim, play or listen to music, eat excellent seafood, watch birds, fish, take pictures, go to the Drive-in or zipline we can point you in the right direction and you won't need to go to far from Ross Ferry by the Sea.
