New for this year, this two bedroom apartment offers everything a family or couple could wish for. Ocean views; a delightful decked terrace looking out onto the beach; two bedrooms; a clean, well equipped kitchen opening out onto a large lounge area, a family bathroom, excellent storage, a washing machine/ dryer, dishwasher and free WIFI.

Step out from the lounge area directly onto the decked terrace and there, in front of you, you have the ocean!
Imagine falling asleep after a hard day at the beach with the sound of the ocean!
Situated on the ground floor, so it's perfect for anyone with walking difficulties or small children.
Bath Towels, bed linen and bathrobes are provided along with free bicycles.
There is everything you could possibly think of a great self catering holiday; oven/microwave/grill, kettle, hob, fridge with small freezer compartment, dishwasher with cleaning products; hairdryer; flat screen Android TV with Netflix and cable channels; wii machine; blue tooth speaker; toaster; nespresso coffee machine; cafetier;
books; CDs; games; beach tennis; parasol; deck chairs for two.
There is an extendible dining table for six inside the apartment and seating for six on the decked terrace with a small table. To the side patio, adjoining the double bedroom there is a bistro set for two.
A large four person sofa with two occasional stools are there, around a large coffee table, great for board games or watching TV. (Not that you’ve come to watch TV on holiday!)
It is literally a minute walk to the beach via a cycle/ pedestrian path.
Within 300 metres of local commerce, you can shop easily during the day and have hands on restaurants, bars and cafes along with summer markets at night.
A free parking space is also offered within a short walking distance to the apartment. You won't need to move your car for the duration of the holiday!!
Lacanau Ocean is a beautiful resort only 45 minutes from Bordeaux airport and an hour from Bordeaux itself. Vibrant, chic and up and coming, it draws in surfers from across the globe as well as couples and families searching for a great getaway. The apartment is located on South Beach and in a quiet part so no issues with privacy or noise at night.

All bed linen and bath towels are provided, four bath robes too. On vacating the apartment, we ask you to leave the apartment in the same clean condition as when you arrived. A 50€ chargé for cleaning will be taken out of your damages deposit if not cleaned. The damages deposit is 250€ and can be given in cash or cheque. This will be given back to you in full if no damages arise.

Quieter than some parts of Lacanau Ocean but directly on the South beach and 300metres from commerce so it’s perfect for getting a good nights sleep. The apartment is in its own private block of apartments and isn’t situated above any shops; restaurants or commerce. As it is on the ground floor, the lift isn’t necessary.
There are excellent surf schools around and the nearest to the appartment is Océan Ride Surf, just a minute to the right of the apartment.

I moved to France in 2005 and I work as a photographer. I live with my partner, Thierry, our three children and our cat called Ninja and Dalmatian, Olah. We love travelling and our main travel destinations have been Italy, the South of France, Spain and The Canaries. I learned to dive in the Maldives, snorkeled in Thailand and surfed (badly) in Lombok, Indonesia.
