I recently sold my business, a cafe at Salamanca Place, that I have owned and run for the past 28 years. I now intend to focus my energies on my airbnb venture. I love meeting people and have really enjoyed being part of the hospitality industry in Tasmania. I am a kayaker and bushwalker and spend my weekends exploring the best that this state has to offer. The Tasmanian Wilderness is exceptional and the hospitality industry has grown over the past few years into an amazing tourism experience. Tasmanian food and wine along with the exceptional landscape and warm hospitality of the locals is a must do experience. Food and wine are also passions of mine. Many artists have chosen to live here because of the relaxed lifestyle and inspiring environment that Tasmania offers. I love art and am a keen supporter of many of our local artists. When I travel, I love meeting the locals as well as finding the local gems that are on offer that might not be part of the broader tourism experience. I am looking forward to giving a warm and keen insight into travellers' experiences of Tasmania.
