A century old barn turned into a loft cottage on the water in the very heart of Mahone Bay. Our barn has everything you need for a long or short stay. Walking distance to all the shops, groceries, post, brewery, museum, coffee shops and restaurants (directly behind Mateus Bistro). Next door to Sweet Ride, a great bike shop that rents bikes to explore the area.
The barn has washer, dryer, dishwasher, tv (for dvd's), wifi, books, and a beautiful setting to relax while visiting the south shore.

With a full kitchen and a fenced in, waterfront garden, this is not only a place to stay on your vacation, but a place to truly rest and retreat to while visiting Mahone Bay. It is lovely for a pet, though there are spaces where a cat or small dog could escape, if they are those escape artist types. We do have a long anchored chain if needed.
There is also an old church organ from a demolished church in Mill Village, board games, books and a collection of dvd's.
My husband and I own the restaurant on the street side of the property, Mateus Bistro, and you are welcome to order in if you don't feel like cooking.

The entire place is yours, make yourself at home, it was ours until we had wee kids. We loved it.
