Welcome to your country retreat! This unique property was originally built in 1840, and comes with 10 acres of farmland to explore. Relax on the back deck, take in the dogwoods and beautiful flowers, and get away from it all! Located minutes from the Appalachian Trail, Devil's Backbone, and much more, we are ideally located to explore the trails, breweries, and wineries of scenic Nelson County.

This gorgeous private bedroom is a part of a dedicated guest suite in our house, and includes access to a shared sitting area with a wet bar, microwave, coffee maker, mini fridge, and your private bathroom and bedroom. The king-size bed features a fluffy down comforter, cozy pillows, and cotton sheets. There is also a double bed so this room is perfect for family groups or friends! The room features a desk, rocking chair, and cozy love seat, plus an oversized closet. A luxe queen size air mattress is also available! Access to your room is convenient and secure- we have electronic key pads so you don’t even have to worry about keys. Your room is on the 2nd floor and has the best views in the house! You can gaze out at the gorgeous blue ridge mountains from the comfort of your bed. The entrance is only shared with any guest(s) staying in the downstairs bedroom, the owners do not access this space.

Feel free to roam our 10 acres, kick it on the back deck, or lounge in the detached living room, complete with a wet bar, mini fridge, and coffee maker. We also provide coffee, cream, and sugar, plus wine glasses and a cork screw! There is a gas grill and fire pit available as well.

Please note that this is a very rural area- many cell phone providers may not have service and our internet connection is not very fast. Please no that the bathroom is not en suite but is directly outside your bedroom.
