We are a small, family-oriented timeshare resort located close to the beach. We have two buildings, one on each side of a two-lane street. Each building has its own pool and hot tub. The SUMMARY section (as well as the listing title) will tell you whether the unit you're looking at is on the beach side of the street or across the street. Please be sure you are booking for your desired location, as we cannot accommodate upgrades after the reservation is booked.
All of our units are equipped with the following:

* towels for maximum occupancy of unit (pool towels available for check-out)
* hair dryer
* clock radio in living room and/or bedroom
* iron & ironing board
* telephone (free local calls)

* BBQ Grills (gas or charcoal), with tools available for check-out

* Many items available for check-out, including bicycles, beach chairs, and board games. There is a rental fee to use the bicycles.
Kitchens are equipped with coffee maker, blender, electric can opener, microwave, dishwasher, dishes for max occupancy of room, pots, pans, etc. (if the specific item you need isn’t stocked in our kitchens, we may have it available for check-out as a loaner). The main differences between a Mini Kitchen and a Full Kitchen are (1) the size of the actual kitchen (counter and cabinet space, etc.), and (2) the size of the appliances. The full kitchen has regular, full-size appliances, whereas the Mini Kitchen has a small dishwasher, flat-top two-burner stove with no oven, and a smaller refrigerator (which is actually located just outside the kitchen).
A note about Max & Suggested Occupancy: Because our units have two beds in the living room area (most have a Murphy bed and a sofa bed, but a few have two sofa beds), they can sleep a larger number of people. The number shown for Fire Code Max Occ is the maximum number of people that may check in to the room under any circumstances. The number shown for Suggested/Comfortable (which is the number we use for our Airbnb listings) is what we have found to be a more reasonable occupancy rate for the comfort and privacy of all guests in the room. So, for example, our one-bedroom units are listed as accommodating up to 4 guests, because that's what's going to be most comfortable for most people. The fire code says you can have 6 people in there, so you are certainly welcome to do that... but if you find that it's "tight quarters" and "no privacy", we will not be able to do anything to help you.
We have multiple units of each type, so the SUMMARY section describes all possibilities for that unit type. We apologize that we are not able to accommodate specific requests such as floor, view, balcony/patio, or square footage. Your best bet is to assume that you will be assigned the least-desirable option. If we have a better option available and assign you there instead, you'll be pleasantly suprised! For example, if the listing says some units of your chosen type have a patio/balcony, assume that yours does not. If you get here and find that it does not, you won't be disappointed... and if it does, you'll be even happier!

All gates (including the gate to/from the beach) can be opened using the guest's key card, which is issued at check-in.
We also have complimentary Wi-Fi throughout the property. A code will be given to the guest at check-in. High-speed access is also available for an extra fee.

Due to the nature of timeshare and the way our units are owned, there is a very small possibility that if your stay includes both a Friday and a Saturday (back to back, not a week apart), you could have to change units on Saturday. If we find that this is the case, we will notify you and give you the option of canceling your reservation without penalty.
By booking a timeshare through Airbnb, you get the best of both worlds - Airbnb rates, with all the amenities of a small, private resort with a full staff dedicated to making your visit great. Although we are a timeshare (and we do have units available for sale), we are not in the business of selling timeshare. We are in the business of providing a clean, comfortable place for you to stay during your time in beautiful Pompano Beach, Florida.

The resort is located in Pompano Beach, Florida, just south of Hillsboro Mile. Canada House is located in a very nice, very quiet area of Pompano Beach and is within walking distance to the beach.
There are a number of restaurants and quite a few activities half a mile or more from the resort. We have a very comprehensive Guest Information Book in every unit that our guests find very helpful for recommendations for activities, restaurants, shopping, etc.

Canada House is a timeshare in Pompano Beach. Our staff loves to make a home away from home for our guests, whether it's an Airbnb guest who's here for one night, or a timeshare owner here for 15 weeks.
