Bayhaven Cottage is a modern 4 bedroom home ideally situated on a quiet street about 5 minute's walk from the restaurants, cafes and fabulous new children's water park at Moonta Bay. The cottage comfortably houses 8 people and is perfect for two families of four, or a romantic weekend away for a couple.
We love Moonta Bay and the amazing Yorke Peninsula - one of Australia's best kept secrets! We are sure you will too.

The cottage comfortably houses 8 people with one queen bed in the main bedroom, with ensuite, one double bedroom and two bedrooms with bunk beds. Perfect for two families of four, or a romantic weekend away for a couple.
Please note: Bayhaven Cottage is a privately owned holiday house. Pillows and quilts, tea towels and bathmats are provided, linen and towels are not usually provided. If you require linen and towels to be provided please contact the owner. They may be available for hire if pre-booked and confirmed with the owner.
Table tennis table, dart board and various books and games are provided for guests' relaxation and enjoyment. Bayhaven Cottage has a large outdoor entertaining area in a secure backyard, perfect for relaxing after a day of snorkelling, fishing, swimming or just enjoying a good book on one of the beautiful beaches around Moonta Bay and Port Hughes.
The small, well-equipped kitchen comes with dishwasher, microwave and coffee making facilities. Coffee, tea, sugar and condiments are provided for your convenience.
The living area has a flat screen television with DVD player.
There is a top loading washing machine with washing powder provided.
Sorry, no pets or internet (think of it as a chance to share a device-free holiday with the children!). Smoking is allowed outside the cottage only, please dispose of butts thoughtfully in the bin.
We offer a two night minimum stay for most times during the year, for peak times the minimum stay is 4 nights.
Bring your pushbikes - children and adults will love the short, safe ride to the Moonta Bay beach and jetty, and the 15 minute ride along the bike track to the historic township of Moonta.

The whole house and garden are available for guests’ sole use. There is plenty of room for parking cars, caravans, boats and trailers, and a second fridge is available for those lucky enough to need it for their catch.

Moonta Bay、澳洲南部、澳洲
Moonta Bay is situated on the northern Yorke Peninsula, about 160 km, and a bit more than 2 hours drive, north-west from Adelaide. It is a short distance from Moonta, one of the three historic towns of the copper triangle, along with Wallaroo and Kadina. As well as the beautiful beaches along the coast, the area boasts a rich and fascinating history. Prior to European settlement the peninsula abounded with wildlife, and the gulf waters provided abundant food for the Narungga people. Evidence of their campsites can still be found amongst the sand dunes between Port Hughes and Balgowan, 50 km to the south. Once copper was discovered in 1860, white settlers came to work in the mines and the townships of the Copper Triangle thrived. Many of the beautiful buildings constructed during that time can still be seen along the wide streets of Moonta. The Moonta Heritage trail includes some of the more historically significant buildings and many areas of interest associated with the Wheal Hughes copper mine which was established in 1861.
The copper triangle towns are also host to the Kernewek Lowender, a Cornish festival that takes place in May every two years. The next festival will be held May 2019.
