Sugartop is a condo resort located on top of Sugar Mountain. Enjoy your morning coffee as you see the sun coming up over Grandfather Mountain. The kitchen is fully equip with anything you would find in a standard kitchen. Both a Cuisinart coffee maker and Keurig are available. Minimum stay is two nights.

We now have dedicated wifi in the condo beginning mid January. The TV in the living area has USB and HDMI plus, but you will need to supply the devise and cords to use. An additional TV is in the master bedroom hooked to cable. There are videos, books and games for your enjoyment.
**** During winter weather when there is excessive snow or ice, it might become necessary to have an all wheel drive vehicle or snow chains to drive up the mountain.
*** This resort has no A.C. It is at a mile high so the temperatures are cooler.
***. Where there is a high volume of guest staying, renters may have to park in the lower parking lot and be shuttled up to the resort. The shuttle van runs on demand. You will be able to park in front of the resort to unload and load. When a shuttle is needed call or ask the front desk.
*** Wood for the fireplace is not included. Please bring or buy locally.

We have 24 hour security and you have to be on the guest list to proceed past the guard house. Once you arrive at the resort we have a front desk that is staffed 24 hours 7 days a week.
