Enjoy your stay at this delightful ‘’home away from home’’ in Blythedale Beach. The peaceful coastal town on the north coast offers kilometers of golden sand and warm sea water, ideal for long walks, swimming etc. Short, medium, long term.

Did we mention… “the sea water is warm”! There are also beautiful rock formations and unspoiled plant rich dunes. We also often see dolphins, as well as whales during season. There is a conservancy adjacent to Blythedale Beach at the Umvoti River mouth which is home to a wonderful variety for birds – great for bird lovers. For golf lovers, there is the Prince’s Grant Golf course close-by.
The double storey unit is in the Wild Waves security complex. It is welcoming, spacious, fresh and clean and fully furnished with everything available for self-catering. Short and medium to long term renting is also an option.
The unit has an open plan sitting room and lounge with glass sliding doors opening up onto a stoep - patio for relaxing, braai, all with 140 degrees sea view! There is a separate area with TV including DSTV. There is also a guest toilet.
The garden area opens up to a communal lawn and a big swimming pool in the complex with communal braai – barbeque area, all with 180 degrees sea view.
The kitchen has a microwave, state of the art oven, fridge-refrigerator combo and essential utensils as well as equipment including crockery, cutlery, pots, pans, cleaning material.
The unit has 3 bedrooms upstairs and a landing area. It sleeps 6 people comfortably. Two bedrooms have wonderful sea view and open up to an open balcony. The main bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with bath and shower and the second bathroom has a beautiful walk-in shower!
Wild Waves complex is a mere 10 minutes’ walk from the beach, where life savers are on duty through the year. Blythedale beach has a convenience grocery store for your urgent needs. There is also the Lime and Ghecko coffee shop and the Beach Shack restaurant. Palm Dune Beach Hotel is 1 km from the complex, with beach access, lounge and dining area – popular for conferences and beach weddings.
Kwadukuza (10 km inland) is the close-by town, where the remains of the Zulu King Shaka is buried. Groutville (15 km south) is home of the late ANC leader, Chief Albert Luthuli - teacher, activist, Nobel Peace Prize winner.
Close-by beaches include Balito with a newly developed shopping mall with movie cinemas, Salt Rock beach – remember to also visit the Litchi Orchard and Animal Farm, Tinley Manor beach and to the north Zinkwasi beach with lagoon, ideal for kids.
