Located in Northeast Oak Cliff, lies the spacious R&R Hostel for the savvy traveler. Spend your money on exploring the Bishop Arts District and save it on lodging. The R&R Hostel Dallas has a very cabin in the woods vibe. You get the feeling of a retreat with all the benefits of a hostel.
///Best Value in Dallas! ///Shared living space ///All the comforts of Home Living ///Spend your money on exploration, not accommodation ///Free coffee/tea bar available; Wifi available
房源空間 //Your private room// Includes a queen bed and a desk. Furnishings are minimal. The bathroom is not connected and shared among other guests.
//What does the R&R stand for// Rest, Relax, Reduce, Reuse. R&R Hostels are filled with salvaged furniture and thrift store finds. The decor is eclectic. The model is sustainable. We transform rundown houses into homes.
//What are Hostels// Hostels are hospitality businesses that have shared rooms and spaces. The meaning of a hostel is that you only pay for your bed, and share the rest of the room's space with other people you don’t know.
Due to this "co-habitation" set-up, the prices for this type of stay are much more affordable. The "do it by yourself" hostel culture also lends towards creating a vibe very different from that of a traditional hotel. The environment is much more laid-back and collaborative.
//What to expect// The expectation is that all of our R&R guests will pitch in to make a harmonious co-living atmosphere. Guests are often a mix of longer term stays and one night roadtrippers. Are you looking to move to the area or on a short term work assignment? R&R Hostels is your spot.
Once you come inside our spacious hostel, you get the opportunity to bond with your fellow guests. Share coffee and swap travel stories. Look out for each other. The cool thing here is that even if you are traveling alone, you have the opportunity to have a social experience. We do not pretend to be a five-star hotel. The reviews tell the story.
//Setup// The R&R Hostel// Dallas consists of 6 private rooms, a dorm room, 2 bathrooms, a kitchen, and a comfortable living room. The house is very large and all common spaces are shared. The living room has a small TV for watching VHS tapes. (Seriously, we have a VCR and an ample VHS collection so enjoy the throwback 90s vibes)
The dorm room is separate from the main house. So if you’ve booked a dorm bed, expect to take a little trip to the bathroom each time. The private rooms are all located in the main house, and all a short walk to the bathroom.
There are stairs leading to both parts of the house. The main house has a large flight of stairs as pictured. And the dorm has a small flight of stairs leading to it as well. As a result, our hostel is not the best fit for guests who have trouble with stairs.
There is a huge porch, perfect for enjoying your morning cup of coffee or doing yoga on the deck. There is a small patio area in the backyard as well.
There shall be no more than 16 guests at any time.
We are situated near the Bishops Arts District, with its funky charm and exciting restaurants, it's a side of Dallas you will definitely want to check out. We are only a twelve minute Uber ride to downtown, making it a great base camp for all of your explorations. Plus, our house is within walking distance of several eating options and nature trails for those invaluable casual days around the AirBnB.
