Very safe and quiet neighborhood. Over an acre of land with a creek, garden and room to explore. Close to the interstate, and the city of Wilmington (15 minutes) or Philly (45 minutes) but rural relaxing environment. See fox, deer, ground hogs, and birds of all kinds on the property.
Shared kitchen and deck space. If you want to feel at home and relaxed, come visit us! We are around the corner from Cokesbury Village, 8 miles from Kennett Square and 10 miles from Longwood Gardens.

This space is meant to be a sanctuary for you when you are away from home. Your private bedroom room is spacious. There is a king sized bed in the room with both a mattress topper and quilt that can promote a great night's sleep. The bathroom is private. Both the shower and kitchen drinking water are filtered and there is a diffuser in the bedroom that you may use if you are drawn to the benefits of essential oils.
My goal is to provide a warm, welcoming and relaxing environment for you while you are here. Although the bedroom and bath are private, the kitchen, screened porch and front porch sittings areas are shared with me and my husband if you chose to use them.

When you come to visit please park in the driveway behind the truck or the boat so you are off the street. You can enter the house though the front door.

Please, no packages shipped to my address. However, I will help you figure out how to get anything you need sent to the USPS for pick up. The post office is just 3 miles away. Thank you.

The neighborhood is quiet with very nice people. A good place to walk if you want to stay close to the house. We are just around the corner from Cokesbury Village, a very nice retirement community. Del Castle Park is a nice, safe and well lit local park with a couple of mile walking/jogging path and tennis courts about 2.5 miles from the house. There are numerous hiking and bike riding paths in the local state and county park areas very close to our location.
