I live in the country. My home is on two miles of dirt road (no street lights) from the nearest paved road. There are animals such as deer, bears, coyotes, snakes, mice, snapping turtles and insects all around this beautiful and unique property. You are likely to see mice in your guest room if you leave food out. I’m about ten minutes from Newfane village center, about 30 minutes from Brattleboro.

I am the librarian in town and am working on renovating my lovely small farm in Newfane. I started hosting on Airbnb in 2012, when I lived in Springfield, Mass. I moved to Vermont in 2017 and love to share my beautiful farm with guests.

This is my home. I live there and there is often activity going on during the day -- mowing, tree cutting, gardening, chickens hopping around. This is a really scenic road, so a lot of people drive by on the weekends and like to stop and say hello. It's a friendly place!
