The spectacular nature at Snæfellsnes peninsula has often been referred to as the center of the earth and became world famous after Jules Verne described it in his book “A Journey to the Center of the Earth”.

The south facing cottage offers a viewing platform of Snæfell Glacier known for its beauty and mystical power in the background and the Atlantic Ocean in the foreground. The accommodation offers 100 square meters on two floors and can comfortably house up to 8 people. There are 3 separate bedrooms on the upper floor along with a sleeping sofa, located in the informal TV/DVD corner. The cottage also offers fully equipped kitchen (with dish washer) and dining facilities.
