The owners are mostly not here so the apartment is fully available to the guests. At the time that the owner arrives, they will occupy a separate bedroom and bathroom that is locked at all other times. You do not need to interact, if your paths cross, but they are always available to give you the best tips and tricks for Kandy town.
Guests are allowed in all spaces excluding the owners quarters which is generally unoccupied

Thus visitors are expected to maintain quiet and good behaviour. It is protected by CCTV cameras. The Apartment is in High security area in the city in the vicinity of the Mayor's official residence, Indian Dy. High Commissioners residence and Malwatte Temple.
PLEASE NOTE: We had originally outfitted the penthouse with CCTV cameras in the living area (I.e. Living room, kitchen NOT bedrooms/bathrooms) as this was a holiday home. These cameras have now been disconnected for the convenience of our guests. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask.

Apartment is adjoining the Malwatte temple and in vicinity of the Temple of the Tooth and in an exclusive area.The Kandy Municipal park is adjoining the premises. Its entrance is off a three minuets walk. Restaurants are right around the premises from major hotels to way side restaurants providing for all nationalities. As mentioned in other sections, the owners of the Penthouse live in Colombo and do not visit frequently. If there is an overlap, they will however occupy a separate (third) bedroom and bathroom and will not interact with you unless otherwise preferred.
Food items could be purchased in supermarkets - Cargills, Keels - (within ten minutes walk or by vehicle from the apartment). Tuk-tuk stand is three minutes walk in front of the Rajapihilla Park. Laundry and ironing is possible in house.
