Hello, my name is Susanna Norén, I live in a villa on Stora Essingen in Stockholm with my husband Jonas, our two children, grandmother Eva and our dog Vilma. To live here is like living on the countryside despite the fact that it is actually located quite central. Therefore I get to enjoy both the tranquility of the countryside but also enjoy the convenience of living central. Here I get the best of both worlds. What I like the most about Stora Essingen is how it’s surrounded by water and the aforementioned tranquility that the island posseses. I like to exploit how close the water is and take my morning dips in the local bathing spot: Oxhålet, which is just a ten-minute walk away from my house! In my sparetime I like to ride my bicycle and do yoga, but I also very much enjoy taking our dog for walks. The dog and I both like hiking, so it’s not uncommon for us to do so up to several times a year. Other things I like is Sushi, romantic comedies and to read books (preferably a nice detective story or a biografy). Everyone in my family loves to travel and we all have our different ideas of what makes an ideal vacation, when I travel alone I prefer smaller, more personal living spaces than the luxurious (and expensive) hotels one might come across. My life’s motto is: ”treat others the way you want to be treated.”
