The property is a cozy remodeled 1920’s farmhouse. It has all of the amenities of home and is blocks from Clear Lake, downtown Clear Lake and The Surf Ballroom. There are 3 bedrooms and 2 baths. It is ideal for adults and children over 7 and the home features a blend of midcentury modern and modern furnishings. It has fireplaces in the living room and in the master bedroom. The downstairs bathroom boasts a triangular soaking tub/shower combo and the upstairs master bathroom has a shower.

This house has been remodeled from the very neglected 1920’s farmhouse that it originally was. It is positioned on a beautiful tree lined street with friendly neighbors and is about a 10 minute walk to all of the attractions that Clear Lake boasts including the lake, downtown, and The Surf Ballroom.

I plan on visiting a couple of times a year so it is outfitted with everything one would need in their own home. Other than my visits it was my intention to provide a homey, beautiful, unique, comfortable and inviting space to those visiting the beautiful Clear Lake area. When I looked to rent an AIRBNB while visiting the area before purchasing Lake Chalet I noticed there were no options with the esthetic I enjoy and I know many others do as well. I hope you enjoy your stay in my beautiful Lake Chalet.

The house is located within blocks of everything including the lake, restaurants, downtown, grocery stores, The Surf Ballroom and anything else you may need. It is on a quiet tree lined street that can be admired from the fantastic deck.

The neighbors are friendly and welcoming.

I grew up in the Clear Lake Iowa area and as a young adult decided to venture out into the world and have lived in many places across our country until I decided to call The San Francisco Bay Area my home.

My family still lives in Iowa and I purchased this property so that I could have a nice, comfortable place in close proximity to the lake to stay when I visited. The rest of the time I thought I would like to invite people to enjoy the property as well.

I live in the fantastic San Francisco Bay Area but I grew up in the Clear Lake area and most of my family still lives there. I am always available by phone but my family live within a couple of miles of the house and will also be available as a resource or if a problem occurs. Someone can meet you at the property to show you around and answer any questions you may have about your stay or on the day of check in you will be provided a code for the key lockbox, the choice is up to you.
