We are located right on Western Ave. which is a Main street on the west side of South Bend. The street is busy during the day, but quiet in the evening hours. Our neighborhood is working-class and safe. We've had no issues in the 6 years that we've been here. That being said, we still exercise caution and use common sense; making sure we lock our cars and do not leave valuables within sight. The City has done a great job adding additional street lighting and worked hard to improve the walk ways.
We are conveniently located 5 minutes to downtown, 6 minutes from the airport, and only 10 minutes to Notre Dame! As stated in the description, there are plenty of Mexican restaurants and supermarkets within walking distance and grocery store just 2 miles away.
