Make yourself at home staying in my comfy 1937 character house located in a quiet Mayberry-esque residential neighborhood. Just one mile to downtown Appleton and the riverfront, and two miles to the heart of my alma mater Lawrence University.

Very homey second-floor bedroom with queen bed, comfy chair, and church pew which can be used for luggage. Not as "pink" as it looks! :-) Full guest closet also available with hanging space and hangers, dresser, hooks, and shelving, along with a luggage rack.

NEW for 2021: Completely updated shower! (shared full bathroom with host)

Please note that the listing has been updated to show that it can accommodate three people. This is to allow families or other groups of three the option of renting this room if the master bedroom is unavailable (see below.) However, there is only one queen bed in the room, so the third person would have the option of either sleeping on the floor, or on the fainting couch in my office which is right next to the guest room. A $25 charge applies per night for a third guest, and must be arranged in advance.

A second bedroom (my master) is available if you are traveling with four people or more, or just prefer to have separate beds. In total I can accommodate up to six people. Please message me here and I will make the second listing available for the dates you need and review details with you.

Relaxing tree-lined block.

One mile to downtown and the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center, and two miles to Lawrence University and the riverfront. 7 miles to the airport, 5 miles to the Fox River Mall, 20 miles to Oshkosh and EAA grounds and 30 miles to Green Bay and Lambeau. Convenient to Highway 441 and 41.
