Spacious Upstairs loft - expect some stairs! Renovated 1200 sq ft open floor loft filled with antiques. Kitchen , living room, 2 beds in separate divided sleeping area and daybed in living room. Tall ceilings, large bow window overlooking the town square.
Fully stocked kitchen and full sized laundry. Everything you need to feel at home.
Front and rear exit entrance.

Two Doors Down is located on our town square and faces our historical courthouse. The area is rich in Abe Lincoln landmarks and has several wineries/breweries to unwind at. Be sure to try a "Horseshoe" sandwich (native to Central Illinois) at The Depot, a local favorite eatery.

My husband and I have been married for over 30 years, raised 4 children who in turn have just started the next generation with the addition of another 5 (yes we are very proud grandparents). We enjoy having family and friends around. I am an avid quilter and will share with anyone that will listen. I quilt so much that when I go camping so does my sewing machine. - there is always time to run a new seam, start a new memory to share with someone else. We are avid and very eclectic readers - Anne McCaffrey to JK Rowling, history novels to the biography books. I tend towards the Country Western and Soft Rock where as Eric tends toward the hard rock but will still go to my concerts with me to here groups like Home Free. A few of the things that we absolutely cannot live with out are each other, something new to find out about and our hobbies - quilting, woodworking, RC models, good food and family. Some of my favorite travel destinations have been Carlsbad Caverns in New Mexico, the Alaskan Highway, and Short Sands Beach in Maine. Eric has been the world traveler with visits to the Caribbean, England, Puerto Rico and various small towns in Mexico. We both have a love of the laid back style of living you find in the Desert Southwest and have adopted a love for Mexican food. However you can never go wrong with a good set of Hot Wings and Pizza. Eric prefers to fly but I prefer the leisure a long drive across country with the camper in tow gives you ( Eric might be becoming a little converted to my way of thinking here). As hosts of out of town visitors, we tend to hand you the keys and let you enjoy what interests you the most.

Of course, we’d love to meet you, but the experience at Two Doors Down is a quiet one for you. We have a keyless entry system, so our guests have access to come and go as they need. We are at the ready if you should need us, though!
