Cora´s House & Horses is a small, cosy family run guesthouse on the farm Bjarnastaðir in Ölfus which emphasizes a peaceful family friendly environment, relaxed atmosphere and personal services, where guests can get to know the farm animals and bird life in the area, play in the garden or go hiking. All rooms are with shared facilities as well as a shared fully equipped kitchen. In our smoking-free house we offer free high-speed WIFI, coffee and tea.

Cora´s House & Horses is located in the heart of south Iceland, which makes it an ideal location for day trips. By car you can reach many places quickly, such as:
• 10 minutes: Supermarket, swimming pool, golf courses, hospital, pharmacy, restaurants, bakery, liquor stores, museums, hot springs and all kinds of other activities
• 40 minutes: Reykjavik
• 60 minutes: Gullfoss, Geysir, Þingvellir
• 120 minutes: Seljalandsfoss, Skógarfoss and the Westmen Islands (the home of the Atlantic puffin (Fratercula arctica))
For horseback riding or if you are more then 2 people, feel free to contact us.

Me, Cora am a educated riding teacher and horse trainer. So I spends most of my time with the horses and of course with family and dogs. We are a german - icelandic family of 4 with 2 dogs, chicken and horses. We run this little place with 3 rooms and a small horse rental.
