Frederick House is a B&B/Inn that is made up of 5 historic houses that are all situated on the same corner. We are located just a block off of the main street in town, in the heart of downtown Staunton. The Womack House was built in the 1840s. Womack 18 is a private room with a private en suite bathroom.

Womack 18 is a first floor bedroom with a private entrance located in the circa 1910 detached garage addition. Your room has a queen sized bed, and a private en suite bathroom. A mini-fridge, coffee, and tea can be available upon request.

This room is on Frederick Street which is most directly accessible by stairs from our main parking lot which is where you'd park. We are available to help you with your bags if you need us to. Staunton was built on a large hill, so there are stairs and hills all over town to navigate.
AirBnB does not collect state and local taxes for us, so as a licensed business we are required to collect sales and occupancy taxes from you upon arrival/check-in.

We bought this small hotel in March of 2017. One of Brooke's longtime dreams to own and B&B. We are truly the best of both worlds with the personal service of a B&B but the individual privacy of a hotel. We have a variety of rooms (economy, queen, king, suite, or family) across 23 rooms and 5 historic houses dating from 1810 to 1880. We hope to host you soon. Brooke is a native of New Jersey and earned a dual history and communications degree at Catawba College in North Carolina. This is what brought her thru the Shenandoah Valley initially. Ross is from Arkansas and has a degree in computer science from the University of Arkansas with a masters degree in Software Engineering from Southern Methodist University. We are also growing a cat rescue called Wendy's Place Cat Rescue which someday we hope to make an animal sanctuary.
