Approx. 10 miles/25 min. from University of Notre Dame & Amish country, this rural apartment is our finished basement that we reside over. With own private walk-out entrance from back of the house, unit includes 2 BR's (one very small), full bath (shower, no tub), kitchen/family room & laundry room. Once outside, you're on 60 acres of rolling pasture + 17 acres of forest. There are cattle, sheep, chickens & dogs (+ a couple of barn cats & seasonal pigs.). Plenty of space for hiking & exploring.

Dan and I are Detroit area transplants with farming interests. We've been in Indiana for quite some time, and then, a few years ago, we co-created and moved into the Restoration Farm community. We built our near net zero home, retired, and now enjoy gardening and raising chickens and sheep. We like to walk in our woods to find spring flowers and mushrooms. In the winter, we enjoy cross country skiing on our property. Our friends own/take care of around 40 head of cattle. My hobbies include weaving and spinning yarn. Dan enjoys any kind of work outside and playing with the animals. We also like to travel with Airbnb. Last adventure was Christmas in Australia.

While our goal is to provide privacy to our guests, we're available in the evenings M-F and throughout most weekends as we live above the unit.
