Shambhala is situated at the end of approximately 7km of gravel road. The road is, however, easily accessible by ordinary vehicles. Depending on how much rain we've had, the gravel road drive can take anything between 10 and 30 minutes.
There is a mini-market for very basic groceries 7km away before getting on to the gravel road - it closes at 6pm on weekdays and 2pm on weekends. We would, however, recommend getting groceries and other supplies in either Plettenberg Bay or Jeffreys Bay where there's a selection of shopping centres.
