Apartment over the garage on a large property about 200 yards from the water. Separate from the main house, this newly renovated apartment is spacious, private and has an awesome deck off the backside. A short walk to the water or a short bike ride to the beach, this semi secluded property is great for a weekend getaway.

We have a recently renovated apartment over our detached garage on 3/4 of an acre about 200 yards from the water. There is a boat ramp at the end of the street, or a beach about a 5 minute drive or 10 minute bike ride down the road. You will have your own space, but we are close by if you need anything. There is a full bathroom, refrigerator, microwave and coffee pot available.
About 45 minutes in any direction from larger attractions such as Busch Gardens, Water Country, Virginia Beach Ocean Front, etc. The Ocean Front does require traveling through the HRBT and traffic is unpredictable at times. Surrounded by countless golf courses, beaches, breweries and a few wineries. About 10 minutes from historic Fort Monroe and Buckroe Beach

You will have access to the apartment, the deck off of the apartment and the yard. We have a lot of property and we grow our own vegetables and fruit and have egg laying chickens. We ask that you respect our property by not disturbing those items, not throwing parties, not smoking anything inside the apartment (nothing illegal at all on our property at any point) not having bonfires/camp fires of any sort.

We do have two dogs on the property that have free range of the yard when we let them out. They mostly stay inside and when we do let them out, they only use the restroom and come back inside. They are very sweet, but will bark when they see you. Our older dog will probably come up to you and want you to pet her. The younger one will bark and run away. She's our big chicken baby that's afraid of her own shadow.
We also have 5 chickens on the property. They do make noise, but none of them are roosters. If you are interested in purchasing freshly laid eggs, please let us know!

We live off of the main road in the Foxhill neighborhood, but it is very quiet and uneventful most of the time. You won't even realize you are on a main road or even really in a neighborhood. We do have neighbors behind and across the street from us, but once again most of the time they are quiet.
