17km to Bergville. 20km so the nearest restaurant.
We have battlefield sites and graves from the Boer War, Spionkop being closest in proximity. There is fishing to be had at Spionkop and Woodstock dams. Some of the best hikes in the world can be found within half an hours scenic drive (Northern and Central Berg). There are extreme sports, tours and shows all about. Canopy Tour through the trees, world class golf courses. Horse rides, long cycling trails and restaurants of note. Don't forget to visit the World Famous Drakensberg Boys Choir on a Wednesday afternoon. This area caters well to the tourist and offers a dizzying array of activities. I love my family, animals, home life and time with my friends. A good South African braai, with a glass of red wine, always goes down well. Love to travel to any warm place with a beach, enjoying their local food. So awesome to have a chill time after a hard years work, its always something to look forward to.
