Just a short stroll from the beach, tucked away down a little alleyway, you will find this quaint, semi-detached seaside holiday cottage, built in the late 19th century. Lawn Cottage has been decorated and furnished to a very good standard, offering two comfortable bedrooms (one double and one single), and a cosy living room with a wood burner, for those cold winter nights. The private courtyard has a sitting-out area where you can spend memorable summer evenings.
It lies within easy reach of pubs, restaurants, a range of speciality food shops and a twice weekly market. Head for the pier, and your ¼-mile walk to the end will be rewarded with a delightful café, and fabulous views of the Georgian town of Deal. There is a 7-mile ride to Ringwould, very popular with cyclists, and was recommended in The Times “Where to cycle by the Sea” feature. Deal has its very own castle and is near both Walmer and Dover Castles, which all make for great days out. Golf, fishing and an indoor leisure centre with swimming pool are also close by. You can take a trip to Calais in France from the nearby ferry port of Dover, or enjoy the cobbled, historic streets of Canterbury. Lawn Cottage is a great holiday location to enjoy all year round.
