This early century farmhouse situated on 1.8 acres in the foothills of the Blue Ridge mountains, across from Devils Backbone Brewpub, is just five miles from the Wintergreen Resort and is along Brew Ridge & Nelson 151 Trail. There are many wonderful hiking and walking trails all around.

This charming 3 bedroom, 2 bath farmhouse situated on 1.8 acres in the foothills of the Blue Ridge mountains provides comfort and convenience to the many amenities within Nelson County. Just five miles from the Wintergreen Resort, across the street from the Devils Backbone Brewery & Restaurant, next door to the Blue Toad Cider and walking distance from the Ski Barn where you can rent your skis or snowboard. The master bedroom located on the first floor has a queen bed with a TV. There are two guest bedrooms on the second floor that also enjoy mountain views. The first guest bedroom has a queen bed and plenty of closet space. The second guest room has two twin beds, plenty of closet space, a DVD player and a PS2. Both bathrooms are located on the first floor. The kitchen is fully equipped and there is an adjacent dining room. The living room is well furnished and comfortable for our six guests. Relax and enjoy the fresh mountain air from one of the two porches or from the backyard fire-pit with views of the Three Ridges and the Priest Mountains."

You are welcome to the farmhouse and the surrounding 1.8 acres. There is a swing, hammock and fire pit with fire wood.

Nelson County does not have trash service so you must take your trash to the dump conveniently located on Rt. 151 to avoid issues with bears. We cannot promise that your cell carrier will cover you here. Some do, but not all. Please be aware of your coverage if that's an issue for you.

Enjoy unique dining in Nellysford or taste beer at one of our local breweries or wineries. Orchards about 15 minutes away and include, Saunders Brothers, Dickie Brothers, and Chiles Orchard.
