Delightful private little hide-away beneath the Melkhout trees, in the heart of Wilderness. Close to the Touws river and 15 minutes scenic walk along the Kingfisher hiking trial to the village. You might be lucky enough to spot a Knysna Loerie (Turaco).

It is a small, intimate cottage surrounded by nature, and ideal to use as a base for discovering the region.
The cottage has a double bed with a small kitchenette in the corner, and a separate bathroom. The kitchenette is not equipped for cooking, but has a microwave, kettle, refrigerator and basic crockery and cutlery.
Outside is a deck that leads into the cottage's private garden area, which includes a number of protected Melkhout trees. Braai facilities available on request.
Off-street parking behind a locked gate is provided.

The cottage has emergency power that kicks in automatically when we experience loadshedding. This ensures that guests have lights, wifi and hot water. However we advise guests not to use the kettle or microwave unless it is absolutely necessary as it drains the emergency system.
