200 year-old Bank Barn and Farm Retreat in the Heart of Loudoun Wine Country!
Rent this private and cozy cottage apartment, sustainably converted from a 200 year-old bank barn, 7 minutes South of Leesburg on historic Gleedsville Road, 2.5 miles away from Stone Tower and Willowcroft Wineries and 1.5 miles away from Oatlands Plantation!
Small events up to 75 guests (4 of whom may spend the night), with parking for a maximum of 20 vehicles available upon request; approximately $35 extra/guest.

This cozy, environmentally friendly cottage apartment is situated on a wildlife sanctuary that doubles as an award winning Eco-Green preschool Monday to Friday! The cottage is fully furnished with a clean country feel that is warm and inviting. As a farm experience, you’ll have the opportunity to feed our hens, harvest their eggs, and make yourself a delicious breakfast, which can be enjoyed inside or on our spectacular patio by the stream! You are also welcome to interact with our ponies, alpacas and goats! (We strongly recommend bringing Rubber boots if you plan on interacting with animals.)
The bedroom boasts a comfortable queen size tempurpedic bed, with organic cotton sheets, and hypoallergenic pillows. The fully equipped kitchen includes microwave, and all the essentials for breakfast. The bathroom has a rain shower, tank-less water heater, and organic toiletries. The living room has a big screen TV, electric fireplace and comfortable seating - that turns into a full size sofa bed. There is a blueray dvd player, with an assortment of movies and a number of board games as well.
There is ample parking for two cars (one in front of the other) along the stone wall in front of the cottage and drive way turn around. Feel free to walk down the stone path to our stream, patio area or chicken yard adjacent to the cottage entrance.

Guests have access to cottage apartment, patio, chicken yard, and the two parking spaces (one vehicle behind the other) along the stone wall in front of the barn.
Should guests desire a more comprehensive farm experience, feeding ponies, goats and Alpacas, or assisting in brining animals in at night, pm feeding or cleaning stalls in the morning, feel free to contact us!
The property is a Wildlife Habitat, so there is no fishing or disrupting or entering the stream.

As this is a farm experience, please expect the occasional chicken or duck walking by your front door or visiting you while you relax on our patio! The sounds and smells of ponies, goats and/or alpacas may also be present if you walk around the property or on nights below freezing, as our animal stalls are located on the South side of the barn.
Please contact us if you would like to have a more in-depth farm experience! In the am, between 8-10, you are welcome to participate while we release the chickens and large animals, feed them and clean their enclosures. Shortly after dark, we bring everyone back inside and you are welcome to participate or observe that as well.
For small events up to 50 guests we offer professional photography services for a flat rate of $2,000.
