On Wild Atlantic Way in Fanore nestled between Burren Mountains and Atlantic Ocean with wonderful views of local Aran Islands and Galway Bay. Perfect base for exploring Cliffs of Moher, Aran Islands, Burren National Park, Doolin Cave and the many castles that dot our countryside.
Alpine, Arctic and Mediterranean plants grow side-by-side in The Burren, a limestone world that formed 320 million years ago. The magical, mystical area bears the marks of ancient settlers, in the form of dolmens and burial chambers, which still stand today.
Fanore (our area) is very popular with walkers, surfers, rock climbers, tourists and is particularly interesting to photographers and botanists, owing to its location in the Burren renowned for its unique flora and fauna.
