Fully gated, fully secured with 6’ masonry wall, 5 minute drive from the airport...3 minute walk to the beautiful western end of Orange Hill beach, 5 minutes to groceries either east to the Super Value in Cable Beach or west to the Fresh Market, 4-5 restaurants within a 10-15 minute walk west of the property, host lives in separate cottage on the property and the driveway divides the guest experience from owner’s cottage...Set-up for multiple families, events or weddings! It is a Secluded Oasis!

A full 3/4 acre hilltop property at the highest elevation on the Island. 180 degree ocean view with sweeping panoramas to the east, south and west as well. Mature landscape with abundant flowering trees and shrubs as well as Avacado, Bananas, Persian Lime and Pomegranate when in season. No neighbours to the north, west or south and owner’s cottage buffers the main house from the neighbour to the east!

I am a Canadian from Toronto and have permanently lived in the Bahamas since 1997. I am an architect/builder and have had a very rewarding career in the high-end residential market designing and building vacation homes in all of the gated communities. I have been on my present property since 2003 and built the cottage that year (where I live now) and built the main house and occupied it in May of 2012. I plan to spend the rest of my life here as I now have sand in my toes!

Greatly appreciated if all guests would abide by the very clear house instructions! The cost of utilities is extraordinarily high in the Bahamas...so use freely when you are there but please turn off all lights and fans when you leave to go out! This will allow me to maintain the great value price on the property! And remember, as many guests have had trouble so far (even though clear instructions are on the House Rules) all doors have hurricane hardware and the handles must be lifted firmly in the “up” position in order to lock the doors.
