"Bybee's Nest 2", a basement apartment of our home, can be your "home-away-from- home" as you experience the majesty and beauty of Bryce Canyon National Park and other nearby wonders. It's located at the base of Bryce Canyon in the small town of Tropic, Utah just off Scenic Byway 12. The apartment has a designated parking area, a private covered outside entrance, and it's own patio with table and chairs where you can relax and enjoy small town America and the surrounding views.

This 500 sq/ft basement apartment includes one bedroom with a king bed and a new Tuft and Needle mattress as well as extra bedding for your comfort, a kitchenette/living area and a spacious bathroom.
The kitchenette is equipped with a microwave oven, fridge/freezer, toaster, and a Kuerig coffee maker with complimentary K-cups.
The dining area has an expandable table with chairs, and across the room a comfy couch and ottoman are perfectly situated for the Amazon Fire Stick TV and complimentary Netflix.
The bathroom has a shower and vanity and is stocked with towels, shampoo, body wash and a blow-dryer.
WiFi included.
Outside you have a private patio area with a table and chairs as well as access to a shared barbecue area with a gas grill.
Check in anytime after 4 PM.

Bybee's Nest is situated 8 miles from the entrance of Bryce Canyon National Park and in close proximity to many other breathtaking destinations. Conveniently located within walking distance of the grocery store and local restaurants. Dining options within Tropic include The Pizza Place, Showdown Restaurant, IDK Barbeque, Rustler's Restaurant, and Stone Hearth Grill. All are within short walking distance of the apartment with the exception of Stone Hearth Grill, it is located on the West end of town, closer to the lower entrance of Bryce Canyon.
On the North end of town you'll find a small grocery store as well as a coin operated laundromat.
There are several nearby attractions, including the following:
- Bryce Canyon National Park (14 minutes)
- Zion National Park (90 minutes)
- Grand Staircase National Monument (10 minutes)
- Kodachrome Basin State Park (20 minutes)
- Grand Canyon National Park (3-4 hours to the North Rim)
- Capitol Reef National Park (2.5 hours)

The owners of the apartment can often be found working on the grounds and enjoying all that the area has to offer. As previous residents of Tropic, they will be happy to assist in any way, whether that be giving recommendations on little-known sites and eateries or handling any needs that might arise. If you don't see the hosts out and about, you can contact them via the contact info in your welcome email, or by phone. Their personal phone numbers can be found on the dining table of the apartment. Text messaging is preferred.
