Hostel Sunce (Sunce - Croatian word for Sun) is located in the historic part of the town. It is only 4 km from the ferry harbour and the beach is only 10 minutes walking distance. Close to the hostel there is an ambulance, post office and the coach station.

Stari Grad (Antic name Faros) is a historic town on one of the most beautiful Adriatic islands - Hvar.
Stari Grad is a city of cultural monuments. The most famous are: the church of St. John, the church of St. Jerome, the church of St. Nicolas, remains of the church of St. Lucia, the church of St. Roch, the church of St. Peter and the Dominican Monastery (in this monastery there is museum with the oldest stone-inscriptions on Croatian ground, many archaeological findings from Pharos as well as other precious things), the parish church of St. Stephen and Tvrdalj (fortified castle of a poet Petar Hektorovic).
Stari Grad is also a modern tourist center with great gastronomic offer and many sports and recreation facilities.
The sea surrounding Stari Grad is well known for its reach sea flora and fauna. There are many wonderful beaches in the town and the surroundings.

Hi! :) I live in Slavonski Brod, in the eastern Croatia, also called Slavonia. During the season I live and work on the island of Hvar. My favorite season is definitely summer. Like many young people I like to watch movies, listen to music and have a party. Hvar is a great place for young people and partying, you can enjoy in many clubs and meet a lot of new people from all over the world.
