El Agave Ranch is on 1.5 acres nearly bordering the National Park. It's the perfect central location as it's only a 10 minute drive on back streets to the park entrance in Joshua Tree and 15 minutes to Pioneertown (Pappy & Harriet's). Dining and grocery stores are nearby and plenty of great local shopping (antique stores, clothing, etc.). Enjoy our homemade banana bread with local coffee in the morning & take in the evening sunset views of Mount San Gorgonio.

Cozy furniture with a wood burning stove/fireplace in the living room makes for a perfect high desert getaway. Newer kitchen fully stocked with everything you need.
Unfortunately, for all new reservations, we are no longer allowing pets. If your reservation was confirmed prior to October 18, 2020, we will allow you to bring your pet(s) if that was specified in your reservation. A $250 non-refundable pet deposit will apply to anyone that brings a pet and their reservation was not confirmed before the date above.
*In the past, we rented a casita as well as the house, but that is not the case anymore. You will have entire house and yard to yourself.

Very quiet residential neighborhood with beautiful views of the mountains. Away from the city lights (we border the national park) so you see so many stars at night!

You can find us at the beach in San Diego or the high desert in Joshua Tree! We met playing soccer and it's still our favorite form of fitness. In fact, one of our favorite destinations is England to catch a football match and a historic castle tour. However, our favorite has to be Amsterdam, but we will take a siesta any day on a beach some where. When we travel to a specific location, we are looking for an authentic and unique experience. This is our goal we wish to create for all our guests at the El Agave Ranch. We hope you have a fun and memorable experience!
