Yet, house is only 1 paved mile to Rockfish Valley Road, Rt. 151 (aka the Red, White and Brew Trail). 30 minutes from Charlottesville, Va. Close to breweries, wineries, hiking & excellent restaurants.

Located on a ridge with views of Humpback Mountain, the house has an open concept floor plan with gourmet kitchen, and high end kitchen equipment for cooking fabulous meals. The second floor main living level includes a large master bed and en-suite bath, as well as second guest room and full bath. The great room includes a wood burning fireplace; plenty of available chopped wood on property. A second family room is found on the lower level which also serves as a fourth bedroom with an interior door, its own ac/heating unit, full window shades, and a jumbo down-stuffed sectional that sleeps two adults, one on each end - bedding is provided. The downstairs foyer also has a queen futon couch for additional sleeping quarters. Much closer to restaurants, highway, wineries, breweries, Charlottesville, and outdoor fun than homes on Wintergreen Mountain.
Note: A mini modern cottage on an adjacent hilltop will open in May. This 2 person cottage was sited and designed in such a way as to maximize privacy for both units. It will be listed as a separate Airbnb rental.

DOGS are welcome but by pre-approval only. An additional $30 per dog per visit cleaning fee will be added. Your dog should be friendly and house trained. Your dog must be supervised by you at all times or crated in the room if left alone. You will be responsible for picking up pet waste in the enclosed backyard and disposing it. You will be charged for any damage caused by your dog.
