This beautiful historic mansion is conveniently located in downtown Suffolk within walking distance of restaurants and shopping. The house has many unique features: 9 fireplaces, formal living and dining areas, a library, butler's pantry and breakfast room. There are expansive terraces, marble porches, and a floating staircase that leads to the third floor ballroom.

This house, which was built in 1909, is a cornerstone of downtown Suffolk. Its urban location is convenient to all of the Hampton Roads area. Colonial Williamsburg and Virginia Beach are an easy day trip. There is a brewery, and several great restaurants within walking distance.

I have spent the past 5 years restoring The Truitt House and am so excited to share it with my guests. I graduated from The French Culinary Institute in NYC, so as you can imagine, great food is another of my passions.
