There is a special calm and serenity about my place. The gardens are beautiful and colorful. People say it feels like a sanctuary.
The room is equipped with a queen sized bed.
This room may be coupled with "Serendipity/a haven on Martha's Vineyard" for families to have two bedrooms. This room sleeps two and so does Serendipity/a haven is outfitted with two singles that can also be made into a king. The bathroom is shared with the room across the hall.
****Two night minimum on summer weekends****

Guests have access to a K-cup Keurig machine for morning coffee or tea and can store food and snacks in the screen porch fridge. You are welcome to use the screened porch or the garden table under the grape arbor for breakfast, snacks or other brought in meals.
There is a small fridge on the porch just for guests. Plates and cutlery, cups and glasses are available on the porch. You may bring in food and reheat it in the microwave on also on the porch. The kitchen is not part of the amenities. The water from the faucet is good town water. I do have a water filter if guests prefer. There are a number of bathroom items provided for guests. There is also a variety of maps and pamphlets with island information on a table near the entrance.

I have an outside shower which is "very Vineyard" for those who would like to shower surrounded by nature. At night you can shower under the stars. There is an inside shower as well of course.
I speak fluent French and get by in Spanish.

The neighborhood is residential, quiet and welcoming. It is close to town but not in it. If you choose to walk at night know that the roads are not well lit. The Vineyard's appeal is more rural. It is a 20 minute walk to and from town. There are a number of restaurants in Vineyard Haven and others in Oak Bluffs and Edgartown. In fact every town has some restaurants and there is a good variety. Bikes are available to rent at MArtha's Bikes in Vineyard Haven. If you arrive in Oak Bluffs, you may also rent bikes there.

I have lived in several different countries and love traveling. I am now settled on Martha's Vineyard where I practice complementary medicine, including Reflexology, Massage, The Emotion Code and other techniques. I travel to France each year to visit my children who live there. I enjoy meeting people and learning about different cultures. I like new and interesting experiences and encounters.
