Situated on Sims Esplanade across from Yorkeys Beach, with it's BBQs, outdoor exercise area & grassed recreation areas.
Very nearby are several great restaurants, the impressive Half Moon Bay Golf Club, & you can get the Courtesy Coach to the Marina to enjoy the views with a drink & meal.

Yorkeys Knob is a quiet, out-of-the -way beach destination, but has more than enough to keep you occupied, & is just a 20 minute drive to Cairns or 15 minutes from the airport. A good local bus service operates regularly, with stops just 150 metres away. There are many & varied dining options nearby as well as a good general supermarket, excellent bakery (with maybe too many special treats !), a Post Office, & coffee shop.
