A bit about the Domes.
"The Domes" is a very special dwelling, consisting of 2 domes. The groundfloor of the larger dome is permanently occupied. The whole of the first floor, basically a flat, is rented out through Airbnb. I own the project and live in the smaller dome.
I am 73 years old, born in Holland, worked in the oil & gas industry and was thereafter involved in environmental and energy related matters. I am now retired.
As I like meeting new people I decided to join AirBnB.
Charges:
€69,- per day for 2 adults.
Subsequent guests €20,- each per day, subject to available bedding (check).
Use of washer and/or dryer EU. 2,- each.
Breakfast is not provided but the fully fitted mini kitchen gives the guests the opportunity to prepare their own breakfast whenever they desire. Also included is bedlinnen and towels.
As we expect our guests to treat our home as if it were their own, there are no charges for cleaning!
We do however, request guests to take off bedlinnen and their used towels and leave them in the entrance at the washing machine.
Esbjerg is situated in the South Western part of Danmark, there where the Vikings took off from and came home to. Several of their settlements, now open air musea, are near to where we live. But don't worry, the Vikings are all gone, while we are very much alive and much friendlier.
Esbjerg is Danmarks center for the offshore oil- and windmill industry.
Also sports and education are trademarks of our town. It is also a windy city. We get lots of fresh air blown in from the north sea.
