We have been a landmark since 1878 in the scenic Spearfish Canyon amidst pines and limestone cliffs. Our charming Lodge of 3 bedrooms, 1 bath, living/tv room, table/chairs and small appliance station is situated on the second level of a popular, award-winning, family friendly restaurant serving country home cooking. We are close to Deadwood and Lead and just up the canyon from Spearfish. Our Lodge has rustic, charming woodland decor to welcome you in your surroundings while in the Black Hills.

We have the convenience of an onsite full restaurant with reasonable pricing along with a gift shop and C-store products for your convenience. The 3 bedroom, 1 bathroom lodge is located on the 2nd level with a private entrance. The stairs offer a handrail for your convenience. A central large living room is appointed with a sofa, loveseat and recliner to relax and watch Direct TV or unwind after your day. The open space has a table and chairs with a counter of small appliances, small frig, microwave, toaster and coffee pot for your convenience. A king sized bed is in each bedroom, one with a twin bed, nightstands with lamps and chairs complete the bedroom furnishings.

The ban prohibits smoking in public buildings and places of employment, including restaurants, bars, and casinos/gaming establishments. The law requires business owners, managers, and operators of places where smoking is prohibited to inform violators of the ban.
In March 2019, legislation passed to include e-cigarettes or other vaping products in the definition of a tobacco product, making it subject to the same regulations as the smoking ban. It officially goes into effect on July 1, 2019.
Exceptions include:
private residences except when used for daycare
(PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING)
sleeping rooms in hotels/motels as long as it is posted that smoking is allowed in the room (WE DO NOT HAVE SUCH A SIGN POSTED)
licensed establishments that sell alcohol under certain conditions related to cigar smoking
retail tobacco stores, under certain conditions
There is a limit of 2 well-behaved dogs.

The area provides many outdoor opportunities of hiking, waterfalls, picnicking, site seeing or local history, entertainment and shopping. During the winter months our area provides cross country ski trails, downhill skiing at Terry Peak and snowmobiling trails.
