The most central location in one of the most charming small towns in America can be your base camp for many adventures in Bryson City. This is Unit A, the apartment with street frontage. It has an enormous king bedroom with small kitchenette station, dining table, and large windows looking out to a setting that could be called Main Street USA for it's Norman Rockwell-esque setting. Cute shops, creative galleries, craft breweries, and charming restaurants are all just footsteps away. Unit A has a small kitchenette station with coffee maker, microwave oven, and dorm refridgerator. You may not need any of these with great options like Mountain Perks Coffee Shop or High Test Sandwich shop just a short walk away. The living room has a comfy sleeper-sofa and high-def TV service by DirecTV with plenty of channels, including premiums. A full bathroom includes hotel amenities and plush towels. The bed is super comfy with all cotton linens and high-quality pillows. The verandah porch is shared with Unit B, and there is one assigned parking space per unit just behind the building.

Bryson City is a gateway to the Smoky Mountains National Park, so you can rent bikes locally and ride some trails there in the Deep Creek area, or perhaps rent paddleboards and head over to Fontana Lake. For even more adventure, try whitewater rafting down the Nantahala River, or soaring on one of the local Zip-line options, all within 20 minutes of town. But you really don't even have to get in a car to enjoy so much of what Bryson City has to offer. At the base of your staircase is Bryson City Outdoors, a gear and apparal shop with adjacent craft beer tasting room. Just across the street is the best restaurant in town, the Everett Bistro (weekend brunch: pick your favorite variety of Eggs Benedict and you won't be disappointed!). Stroll a bit up Main Street to Madison's on Main or down Everett Street to Humanite', the Loose Moose, or many other shopping options. Keep walking and you'll find everything from fudge to pizza to craft beer. Bryson City is home to the Nantahala Brewing Company, where award-winning brews and live music are both on tap; and their brew pub, called The Warehouse, is just down the street. And don't forget the Great Smoky Mountains Railroad as an incredible way to sight-see the area. The neighboring town is Cherokee. It is just 15 minutes to Harrah's Casino and the restaurant options there (Brio's Tuscan Grill, Ruth's Chris Steakhouse, and more) or an hour to Asheville. There's plenty more to see than you can do in just a couple days, so plan a comeback trip, or stay a week for a free night.
