This is Unit B of a 2-unit apartment building located at the very heart of Bryson City's downtown area. It has an enormous great room with fully equipped kitchen, dining table, and sleeper-sofa. The 2 units can be combined together when rented by the same party, and with advance notice, we will open up the adjoining room feature for you. Unit B has a full kitchen with stainless appliances and a coffee maker and microwave oven. You can prepare your own meals here, but why would you? Mountain Perks Coffee Shop, High Test Sandwich shop, the Everett Bistro, and Pasqualino's Italian restaurant are all just a short walk away. The living room has a comfy sleeper-sofa and high-def TV serviced by DirecTV with plenty of channels, including premiums. A full bathroom includes hotel amenities and plush towels. The beds are super comfy with all cotton linens and high-quality pillows. The verandah porch is shared with Unit A, and there is one assigned parking space for each unit just behind the building.

Bryson City is a gateway to the Smoky Mountains National Park. The Deep Creek area there offers great waterfall hikes or biking, but is not the only nearby option, so strike up a conversation at Bryson City Outdoors while enjoying a cool craft beer in their tasting room. You won't chat long before someone will share their favorite hike or ride in the area. BCO also rents Paddleboards for a fun day on Fontana Lake. For even more adventure, try whitewater rafting down the Nantahala River, or soaring on one of the Zip-line options, all within 20 minutes of town. This area is host to avid kayakers (many Olympians are from here or have trained here), so you may just want to sit riverside at the Nantahala Outdoor Center and people-watch. You don't really need to get in a car to enjoy much of what Bryson City has to offer, though. At the base of your staircase is Bryson City Outdoors, previously mentioned for their craft beer tasting room and paddleboard rentals, but the are also a gear and apparal shop. Just across the street is the best restaurant in town, the Everett Bistro, but most days there is also a selection of food trucks available. Walk through this friendly town and find the old-fashioned Clampitt's Hardware or Smith's Dry Goods for a slight glimpse into the past, or check out the modern and stylish gift boutiques like Madison's on Main, McClanahan's, Humanite', the Loose Moose. You can see the entire town on foot. So cross the river and the tracks and find everything from fudge to pizza to craft beer. Mountain Layers Brewing has a popular upstair patio area overlooking the river, and most nights there are activities like open-mic music, trivia, or other special events. And don't forget the Great Smoky Mountains Railroad. They host the Polar Express starting after Thanksgiving, a Peanuts (Charley Brown) themed ride, and other great sight-seeing tours. It is just 15 minutes to Harrah's Casino and the restaurant options there (Brio's Tuscan Grill, Ruth's Chris Steakhouse, and more), which is all on the Cherokee Indian Reservation; so don't forget to explore the many historical/cultural experiences too. An hour away is the very popular destination city of Asheville. The Biltmore Estate is a must-see if you have time. There's so much more to see than you can do in just a couple days, so plan a comeback trip, or stay a week and notice the built-in discount price we have set up for weekly stays.
