Your stay at Beach Glass House is a quintessential Grand Manan experience. Wake up in the morning with your coffee on the deck and observe as the fishermen leave the North Head Wharf for their long days at sea. Tell time throughout the day by the comings and goings of the Grand Manan ferries. For breakfast journey up to the North Head Bakery for fresh French pastries, the best on the island (open in late June-October). Watch as the Bay of Fundy molds the landscape every 6 hours with the world's largest tidal fluctuations. You can take all of this in while walking Stanley Beach, combing the sand for a variety of ocean treasures and its bounty of sea glass. Bring your kayaks and launch from Stanley Beach to enjoy some of the hidden spots on Grand Manan. A menagerie of birds call this island home waiting for you to spot them. At night, watch Swallowtail Lighthouse call the fishermen home. Post Office Pizza, Convenience/Drug store, children's park, hospital, local shops, hiking, churches, fishermen's wharf, visitor centre, farmer's market ALL WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE. Many more memories waiting to be created.

I live next door so I am readily available. The outdoor space is semi-private with a very large deck (small portion shared), fire pit, and BBQ. I spend a fair amount of time in my art studio, but it has a private entrance for myself so you will be undisturbed. Your privacy is important to me, but I also love to socialize! The washer and dryer is located in my art studio and is available upon request (no extra cost to use machines, soap available for small donation). I am flexible and want to make your experience on Grand Manan one that will bring you back again and again. I also offer beach glass/sea treasure art classes at your request and can provide additional information, if interested.
